Because most people have jobs and work or are studying who are old enough to go clubbing & thus cant go during work & thus it wouldn't be feasible to open the club.

There are tons of classy to less classy bars, pubs, clubs that open at 4 p.m. But the people who come in are generally the alcoholics and hookers. People who want a classy time will wander in about 8 or later. You sound like one of the classy ones so you're stuck. Unless you go to Vegas or Atlantic City and such. But what about the kids? And hubby out there working so hard? And boyfriend out....oh, forgot, boyfriends are usually asleep on the couch, loaded and naked, while the kids play with matches, boyfriend's stash or.....

There are a few clubs that open at like 4 & 5 p.m in my area, but they don't do a lot of buisness in the day unless they serve food. A freind of mine is the owner of such club but he is changing his hours to 9 p.m. It just cost to much to stay open if you don't have enough customers.

umm, if you want to party, maybe you could plan a daytime party with your friends, or go to the gym and party, or go to a good restaruant, or just go shoppin.g =]

Mostly because of the local liquor laws. They have restrictions on when they can serve and that will usually prevent them from opening during those hours that they can't make a profit off the alcohol.
