Mental Illness?

Why does it seem like there's more mental illness in certain regions of the country, and specifically in rural areas? Do you feel there's any truth to this? Is there a connection between the two?Take for example the state of Wisconsin. Home to two of the worlds most recognizable mentally insane serial killers - Jeffrey Dahmer and Ed Gein. In Ed's case, alot of his behavior can be attributed to his upbringing, right? Although, he was said to have been slightly mentally disabled from birth, I believe. Do you think being from that area (or an area such as this) had anything to do with their actions?

Is there a part of a person's neurological make-up (brain) that enable's them to lie?

I am interested to know, whether people learn how to lie, or have a neurological part of their brain that covers the ability for some people to lie (and believe completely in their own lies)?

I don't understand why God wants me to live a lonely life being single?

which I really hate being single and lonely. Someone told me that God only chooses those who are strong in character to withstand loneliness but I really hate this kind of life with noone to journey together the rest of my life.

.Men are more logical and women are more emotional.. a question with two different answers. Which one is yours

This was one of the answers, when I asked this: Men and women have different kinds of brain, so different inherent skills and abilities?

I agree that men and women have different interests because of the difference in their perception and thinking styles. Men are more logical and women are more emotional in my opinion. Therefore men are more interested in logical things, like engineering, science, video games, sports, etc. And women are more interested in romantic movies, soap operas, French literature, etc. (SAM)

But, I personally believe that it's not true and we were taught to have these ideas by society.

Well, now please read another answer completely different attitude: Do not let anyone make you believe that there are male and female emotions because that is not true. Children are being socialized to believe that. We are all born with all our emotions intact, it was just changed along the way because of strict societal boundaries that insist that men and women are more different than what really is. They teach their children that "to be human is to be limited". Well, it doesn't have to be. Everyone has all the same emotions, it's just that some men may not permit themselves to feel some of them because they were taught that they shouldn't "feel that way" because only women are suppose to…

Does MENSA still exist?

Does MENSA still exist? And if so, is there any advantage that comes from joining it, once you've been tested and found to have a sufficient IQ?

why is ghana a mixed but capitalist oriented enomic system?

ghana is a mixed economic system and the private sector is classified as the engine of economic growth since 2000. most state funds are been used to import machines and other raw materials for industrial operations. again, all export goods are mostly produced by the individual firms or business entities. the major export product are gold, bauxite, cocoa, timber etc.
