What are your general opinions of English people. I've been thinking about my own views of nationalities and am interested to know your thoughts.

My thoughts:
I wonder why their cooking is so boring, everything even vegetables, is boiled. Anyway it must be healthier than our food.

They play soccer better than we do, but we play better football..ehhh I mean they don't play football at all.

It's so strange a country still has monarchy nowadays.

When you read about their history, no wonder we are a so violent country. But they manage to look gentlemen even in the war. Even pirates, like Drake, where called Sirs.

Would like to answer this, but I'm a Brit, bit English, dash of Scottish and a tad Welsh - and Uncles and Aunts married in from Eire!

I used to work in USA for a week every year and yes, they do think we have rotten teeth [most people don't clean them properly and our NHS dentists used to drill for commission and wrecked our teeth]

Huge numbers don't realise that the UK is only one third the size of Texas with the entire population of New York State, California, Illinois and another 2 Million crammed in. It's probably a lot worse now with all the immigration over the last 10 years!

They think our food is *rap but they sent us Big Macs and Coca Cola and damned chewing gum.

My son trained to fly in Florida - he thought the Americans were materially rich but spiritually poor! Is that true I wonder.

I like them and I love travelling to England. They seem stuffy at first but in all actuality they are very friendly once you actually approach them. I love the fact that they are so polite and I love their accent too.

From a South African who loves the States!!! The Brits are cold, they don't know how to hug and love ie they aren't warm hearted at all and they pull their noses up at any and everything. Keep the USA Hearts Warm

They are very down to earth and reasonable. Funny, too. I think the accent gives 'em a bad wrap.
