Social Science - 11 October 2006

I was in school with my friend, we where talking about boys, then she told me that her brother asked her things about me because he likes me, and that he wants to meet me, but then she laughed and told me that he must masturbate thinking about me because he thinks I am hot too, and that made me MAD, the pervert!!!
I saw him in the lunch line, walked to him and asked him, he said nothing just blushed, that was a yes to me so I kicked him in the balls, he made this surprised face then slowly doubled over to his knees and then fell to the side and turned pale. All the girls cheered and laughed at him, the boys just stared. I bet he will not do it again, serves him right.
The next day she told me that he needed to go to the ER that night, and that he is taking some pills. Oh well, that’s not my problem, he had that coming.
Now when his friends look at me they seemed to be angry, what the hell is wrong with them, maybe they need a good kick too?

I have been taking care of him and teaching him new bahaviors for five years, the long part is havng to deal with his mom, she is like a child too, and I do love the boy, and he has slowly been allowed to see his mother, she is suing for custody- she is not a stranger to him and she is more of a con than a mentally ill person. I am not asking my husband to chose , he is thinking about giving him back to her so this is a question for him too. I would not let any of my kids be around her, but he is not my child and i cannot make that choice for him. She has been diognosed with bipolar disorder and she wants him back now after 5 years and claims to be able to handle it . she is also getting remarried but she is bitter and wants us apart and hates me for being there to care for her son. It is a tuff situation and it is affecting the other kids very negativley as well as our marriage, we have been in and out of court for years, its driving the sane people crazy. please advise

Some people did ask this before, but I was curious cuz I'm having this dream for more than 15 years now.

I dream that I'm doing the normal stuff that I do, nothing fancy, but I can left off the ground and fly! Which is fun and a lot easier than walking and it looks so real that I can always convince myself that I can fly. And when I wake up I feel cheated again because I believed that I can fly.

I have this dream all the time, and I almost always believe in it, but I don't like the feeling of deceit after I wake up.
In all my other dreams I have a sense that this is only a dream, like I'm awake and dreaming, except for this one.

Ten years of this and we have custody of his and her son. The boy is doing very well now after 5 long years of caring for him, he is great but she wont leave us alone or give us any peace. Should we just give him back to get rid of her? She is tearing our marriage apart. I am afraid for the boy and I love him very much, but we have other kids to think about too. I have just been asked out by a older and more higher up person in the company that I work for. At frist I turned him down because of child care issues and I did not want to go out with him if he was only after sex. After talking to a colluege I have found out that it seems genuine. I emailed him back, being poliet saying I would try to get a sitter. There is two problems thou. If I got the wrong end of the stick I could have made a big fool out of my self at work and the other is that I have a boyfriend. I come from a poor family. I study at college but I am afraid of I cannot pay for that. I feel hopeless.

I have a terrible habit of going red in the face usually in akward situations but sometimes even just when attention is on me! I know I'm ovbiously self concious but I don't know what. since the primary determinate of social organization is sexual selection. we can observe in chimpanzee societies the female is isolated unable to fend off aggressive males. we can also observe that chimps are more warlike. whereas in bonobo (almost biologically identical to chimps) societies there is more bonding amongst the bonobo sisters enabling them to fend off the more aggressive males producing a more peacful cooperative culture.

can or should social organization be engineered in this manner?
