I believe a question to be a command that start the mind on a search for the answer. Now what if you gave the mind a question like "why does this always happen to me?" or "why am I so ugly?"? These questions have hundreds of answers, this is enought to make a person go mad.

I know that some people will never be happy even when they are very rich and others may be happy with low income.
But if a person only earn 1000 dollars per year, in general,he would probably never be happy no matter how optimistic he is. The question is,what's the minimum annual income for a happy person?

Main things I want to point out
1. Women change their name to have husband's last name as theirs last name
2. Have their children named after husbands last name.
Why can't you inherit both Fathers and Mothers. There is no way you can trace mother ancestry.

Surprisingly, I see many women OK with this however female chauvinist they are. How come this discrimination is still accepted in a progressive society like America ?

What were they called? What were their beliefs? How many were there? How were they treated?
Also, is it true that the Jews that stayed in that area, instead of being sold into slavery and whatever, and took up Arab or Christian beliefs are what make up the current "Palestine" population?

i had a dream last night that i was lying in my grandma's bed, and she was holding me close to her. she was touching me inappropriately, and i was begging her to stop. She was telling me that she'd disown me if i didn't let her do what she wanted. i told her i was telling anyway, and she continued to touch me. well, the next scene in my dream was that we were at the dinner table w/my aunt, and i told. i then ran to her bedroom, and she followed me. i told her that i couldn't believe she'd do such a thing. she told me she didn't know why i told, that my aunt had the same thing happen to her, and she (my aunt) was trying to recover, why did i worry her w/my problems? at this point i woke up. i was molested in real life by a family friend for 6 yrs, but my grandma has never touched me in a bad way. why would i dream she was doing this? what does this dream mean?

Human brain due to other factors cannot remember where we put certain things even an hour ago. We will start looking for it in a certain spot where we usually think it should be. But we may not find it at that spot. Then we think we lost it or cannot find it or someone took it or it is gone we will find it later and get frustrated and might give up which will cost us time and money at times.

I still recall dreaming I was an officer on the Starship Enterprise, and Captain Jean Luc Picard was going around randomly killing people. I subdued him only by sneaking up to him and sticking a pencil into his neck. He chuckled and collapsed, then promised to behave. Everyone he killed or hurt recovered.

I could try to interpret that dream, but wouldn't even know where to begin.

when they are asked serious moral and ethical questions, or even worse, when they see OTHER people who try to help others with their problems. It's like there is an entire generation of kids who just say "f*ck it" to any problem other people have. I was raised back in the 1950's and 60's, and NOBODY ever said that back then. Why do these new young adults have so little feeling or understanding or COMPASSION for others? Our country, America, did NOT become the great country it is by everyone just saying f*** it. Don't they "get it" that compassion is an admirable quality? What's going on with these people anyway?(and this is NOT a question about religion, so spare me those "religous" based answers please).

I am very serious about this question and yes, I know that one man's terrorist may be another person's freedom fighter so I do not have any preconceived notions about anyone's definition of a terrorist here. For many people living in Muslim or Middle Eastern countries, the terrorists are the Israelis and the US government. My hope here is to create bridges to understanding and roads to peace. I am putting this question in Other, social sciences but if anybody here can suggest a more appropriate place, please let me know.

Okay this is what I mean:
Throughout my life my mother has been trying to put me on diets, I can remember being in second grade and only allowed to eat 600 calories a day. (thankfully my dad put a stop to that) And I have seen pictures of myself at that age, I mean I was no stick but I definately wasnt a chunky kid....b4 or after all her diet schemes.
When I got older (jr. high, highschool) she was always telling me how fat I was and what a big *** I had (and i was 5'6" 135pounds, again NOT skinny...but definately not fat!) So I would ignore her as best I could, but it seemed the more she would tell me not to eat (like at all, she doesnt eat but like once everyother day btw) the more I would want to eat crap just to spite her. Is that weird or what? So now I am 19 and 160pounds....still 5'6". well I dont "blame" this on my mother, but I do feel like if she would have just left me alone i never would have developed this unhealthy obsession with food.

OK, so I'm not trying to be a bigger perv than usual, but is it normal, after a long day at work, to walk around the home with your hand in your pants? It's not mastubating or anything, but it feels good. My wife does it also. We sit around and watch TV with our hands in our pants, or talk on the phone with our hands in our pants, and so on.
