Should I hear this unpleasant truth or better not hear at all?

My terrible illness make me sicker and sicker. But because I'm considered under-age, doctor and my parents refuse to tell me what's going on. Until recently when I'm getting much sicker, they finally agree to explain me.

To be honest I have a really bad feeling about this. I really want to know about my health but I'm very affraid to hear a bad news. And I become unsure whether I really want to hear this not. Do you think should I hear the truth or not?

Before colonisation did the indigenous have a concept of money and greed?

So the EUROPEANS brutally colonised and enforced slavery on the people because THEY (europeans) were the ones with the concept of things having ownership (i.e on land) and money and development. I have read things about the indigenous not legisising land and so the Europeans thought they could claim it as theirs because the indigenous had no papers.

I would just like someone basically to clarify if the indigenous who were taken into slavery had a concept of money and greed --- I mean especially for those who were born into slavery, they must have just thought that to live you need to work to have a home else you were killed... well you were killed anyway but wow this is horrible :(

What are the lessons that you have learned (and still are learning) in life?

my friend's birthday is coming up, and i want to give her a map similar to the one in Elizabeth Town where Kirsten Dunst gives Orlando Bloom a highly specific and personal roadtrip map. The map i plan to make is in accordance to the difficulties and lessons one learns in life in general. I want my friend to have this map since we're most likely we're not going to see each other the next year....i want her to have something to help her when she goes through the smooth and tough times that life offers.

so, in relation to the question, what are the lessons that you have learned in life? what difficulties have you encountered and how did you get through it? or you can tell me anything you like and enjoy about life. anything goes...just give me serious answers please.

Should male rape be made illegal? Rape of men by women we're talking of.....?

At the moment a male victim has to pay his abuser 18 years of 'child support'.

For those who condone rape; just turn it around and say that it should happen to women too. How's it sound now?

I have the offer of a really great part time job on sundays in my local town (i'm 15). its well paid, convenient and shouldn't take too much time out of my social life. but i still have this problem - i can't bring myself to apply properly. its like i'm scared of the commitment. anyone got any ideas on what i should do?

Why is it that all my airliner crash dreams come true?

Same model and color of planes, (usually) same method of crash. Always two to three days after the dream, I see on the news there is an airliner crash. Coincidence? I think not, because we know that airliner crashes are not all that common anymore. You would think I would be afraid to fly with these dreams. The fact is, though, that I love to fly and would fly every day if I had the opportunity.
