I have been reading about the Mexican-American War (1846-1848), and many sources had been quoted that the Mexican soldiers had poor equipment and leadership in the war. In addition, more US soldiers died from disease than battles. I wondered if this is acculate?

It was the 2nd day of school, and this regular average looking girl comes up to me and askes me to be friends.. i said 'whatever, i dont care'

then she asked for my #, i told her to give hers to me instead. and finally she asked to get something to eat after school, i said 'no, i have better things to do'

we didnt & still havent talked since then (about 2 months).. she didn't meet my 3 criterias i wanted in a girl at that time :

1.a girl who wears Lacoste shirts with collars popped up
2. a girl who wears large belts 2.25-4 inches above the hip
3.a girl with blond hair blue eyes

but then yesterday.. everything changed. I saw her wear a pink Lacoste shirt with the collars popped up and I fell in love with her. she has dyed black hair with natural blond streaks (which i dont prefer), but i know we can make it if we try.


How should i approach her? i have her # but somethin inside tells me its too late to call her.. what would u do?

I, personally, suck at small talk. I always try to get something meaningful out of a conversation. When I'm around people I don't know, I can't think of things to say to keep a conversation going. I know that other people have a very easy time doing small talk. This leads me to believe that their are levels of small talk ability.

Whenever I bring up an issue with my husband, for example: I ask him to clean up his dishes or wrappers and those of our 2 kids when he's walking back to the kitchen from the living room, just to help out. Well he usually gets upset and starts telling me I make him feel like he's not doing anything around the house ( which he doesn't) telling me how perfect I think I am, or why don't I just leave him alone, why am I bringing this up now (its never a good time with him) and etc, etc, etc.... So I ask him to tell me why I should be ok with leaving garbage around the house and not have him pick up after himself and show the kids a good example? Then I'm just a bi--- and I always want to argue, and he just won't talk, he just yells. I am not perfect, and just want an equal partnership. We've been together 11 years, don't say it, I've grown and matured and have dealt with my demons and need stability, mental that is, at this point in my life. Does he have an anger or emotional issue?
