I have a problem whenever I hear or read something. I just don't understand things too fast and I'm kind of slow. I think it's because my memory isn't that good.

You need to start training your brain. Do logic puzzles. If you want to have a better memory, do little exercises. Try to memorize a list of words, or the contents of a drawer, or something like that. The more you practice, the better you'll get. This stuff works. No joke.

If you have a nintendo DS, get "Brain Age". It's supposed to train your brain, and it tracks your progress.

Ok, the easy way to remember 10 things at once:

All you need to do is remember the following:

1 = bun
2 = shoe
3 = tree
4 = door
5 = hive
6 = sticks
7 = heaven
8 = gate
9 = wine
10 = hen

After you do this, picture the associated object with whatever you want to remember. EG: the second thing you want to remember is a car, so in your mind picture a car with a big shoe on it. Once you can do this easily (and it will come quickly) you can teach yourself to layer things such as shoe, car, hat and dog all in one easy mental picture. I have successfully used this method to study for university exams and have been able to memorize 50+ facts/objects. It take a little practice at first, but I assure you, it works. Hope this helps!

when you read something important, write it down on a piece of paper. just take notes over the stuff you read. like read a section, and write down the key ideas or events. later when you can't remember, you can look back over it and remember.
