It indicates a thirst for knowledge a tendency for dissatisfaction. We need to know it all, and if we don't, we compensate it by taking what data we have gathered on the subject, and applying it as a universal constant to that which we do not understand. Behaviorism indicates that we are not content with ourselves until we can analyze others. Though it is a potentially destructive state of mind, it makes sense seeing as to how we are social beings with a higher intellect and cognitive function advanced as far we are with science but isolated on a single planet from what may or may not be 'out there'. We strive to explore but for now we have gone as far as we can, so behaviorism is only an extension of what it is to be human, the need to know.
