I believe when you are dead, its lights out. No heaven or hell, no black. No nothing. There isn't even nothing. Hard to grasp huh? That's why different people inverted all those mythologies (people call the old ones that aren't really believed in myths, the ones that people still fall for... they call those religion).

Have you ever think about the short existence of a butterfly. It start as an ugly caterpillar before growing up to a slender colorful butterfly. The caterpillar existence die to let reborn a newer, more beautiful one, the butterfly.
I believe death is just another step, just another door that we must walk through. I know It look scary, mysterious because unknown;nobody ever came back from that door to this date.
According to the new testament in the bible, death is a long sleep that only God(Jesus) can awake.
This mean that we are not really dead but just in a transitory state before a new life, much better this time.

Don't be so preoccupied with death that you could never have any kind of a full life as long as you're in this world! If you don't have a good sense of humor just learning to laugh at life's craziness, why not learn now how to do it?
Another thing:No matter what your religious beliefs are,get a Bible or a New Testament & start reading it.The Bible has all kinds of descriptions of heaven & hell, especially in the book of Revelation, which is the last book in the Bible. You can buy all kinds of Bibles in stores like Barnes & Noble & Walden Book Stores, and even go on their web sites & order them too.
If you're really into DVD'S,you can order the Bible on DVD at www.faithbasedresources.com.You can also check out Bibles & New Testaments at your local library. If you go to church, the next time you go,get a Bible or New Testament there, too.

I believe in what the Bible says and that is that when you die you go to sleep. You are in an unconcious state and when the Lord comes again He will raise the righteous living and dead and take them to Heaven for a Millenium. So when the Lord comes again I will see my grandparents again and my brother.
"The dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down in silence." Psalms 115:17
"The living know that they shall die, but the dead know not anything.": Ecclesiastes 9:5.

First of all, when you die, you usually see everything in your life in a split second.
Second, you should accept it when your life ends, knowing you have done what you can in life.
Third, we may go into a new world, go into heaven, stay in Earth as a ghost, or have a pitch black moment for a loooong time. However, if it ever was a pitch black moment, it would be like sleeping without a dream. Time will be passing by without even knowing it.

death and life after it depends firstly on your religion and your own personal beliefs.
in recent years I have sadly experienced too many of my family and friends facing and eventually giving in to it, at first they are scared of it but the closer the time comes they accept it and no longer fear it, I myself believe that we can't just cease to be, our life force is so strong, weather we become a part of everything around us and our accumulated knowledge is shared in some way I don't know but for our sakes I do hope so, but don't be in a hurry to find out we will all eventually discover what is reality or not soon enough, live your life now the best you can and enjoy every precious minute there is

Every-one has a soul, so when we die this is the beginning of another chapter of our lives. Many of us who believe in /on John 3:16 will be able to say , " This is a beautiful world , to which we have come."

Nobody really knows what happens when you die. All you can do is love and live your life to the fullest so you wont have to regret that day when it is your turn.

I think death will be just like unconsciousness - like sleep. I don't think there will be anything else.
I just hope I die with some meaning, doing something I enjoy, not for some stupid reason or stupid way.
