I'm 16 and a few years ago I started cutting my ankles. Small cuts. Let me first state that, no I'm not suicidal I am very much happy to be living, and no I am not a masochist, I hate the idea of pain and this almost made me stop doing it.
sometimes i just do it cause i'm so angry or frustrated angry that it's like since I had no one to take it out on I take it out on myself. or like i just feel so bad and awful that i need something to show for, like how can everything be just the same when this or that etc has just happened and I feel so so horrible.
and realizing these two reasons answers some of the questions i've had built up. but i just wondered if there is some kind of medical/mental term for this type of thing, because it's just that I can't imagine i'm the first to feel and do like this so...
and furthermore, i used to just cut for no reason, but just because well, it was like the same instincts that make you draw on your self... kind of artish. but uh, very odd, i say

Is it just because their are more extroverts? As a introvert, I am tired of people suggesting that I should be more extroverted. I'm intelligent, I have social skills, I'm working towards my life goals and I'm happy the way I am. To me, extroversion and introversion are different, but each have their strengths and weaknesses, and they compliment each other in our society.

What do you think? And which are you?

i just started taking lexapro and alprazolam, because i found out that i was going through depression.the medicine has really made me feel better, the only problem is that at night after i take alpazolam and fall asleep, i start having lots of dreams, this dreams are not normal it's like i know i'm asleep and no matter how hard i try i wake my self up i can't, and i start to dream things that i am thinking about. this really does scare me because this never happen to me before and since i started taking the meds it's been happening every night. Can meds cause that?

Read my other questions for back-story so you can really understand what I mean when I say that I really like (love if you feel the term is appropriate) this one guy I was dating. I have been trying to get an opportunity to just come right out and confess my feelings, since I wanted to take the relationship from the awkward "more than just dating but nothing official" stage to something more. So, frustrated that chance kept on messing up my opportunities to tell him in person, I sent him an email. He responded saying that he'd like to finish the conversation in person (I thought that might be good since school and work keep us apart fairly often and face-to-face time is at a premium.) But, he blind-sides me with this "I just want to be friends" speech, even saying he wasn't looking for a girlfriend. What?! Our relationship was clearly not a purely platonic "just friends" relationship before, so what's going on?

Why the census is so obsessed with counting anyone who's Hispanic? For instance, only black gringos can check the "black" box, but a black latino would just check "Hispanic" which is so stupid, because how does that serve as identification? Hispanic isn't a color, it's a ethnicity, not EVEN an ethnicity, but a broad term that covers an assortment of ethnicities. And why are Latinos always lumped together? There are several different "Latin" cultures. I mean, you don't see Americans, Irishman and Australians constantly being lumped together just because we all speak English, a magazine entitled "Gringa", or an Anglo pride parade. And what's so stupid is how so many Americans of Latin American descent still identify themselves as "Latino". I mean it's good to be proud of your heritage but that doesn't mean you segregate yourselves from other Americans and identify yourselves with only certain people just because your ancestors spoke the same language. I mean, my ancestors are West African and I don't need a magazine written in Ga or some magazine featuring only women from West Africa or of West African descent. We’re all different, you know? And how in the blue blazes are latinos considered a minority, they cover almost the entire western hemisphere?

I'M MEXICAN, I CAN TALK ENGLISH, SPANISH AND DEUTSCH!
Many American people only speak in english (and black people bad english, of course! Mexican people worse english)

I never know which spider is the female holding the children; I always figured it's the size of the abdomen, but some I killed have the same size. Every time I kill a mother spider, which I wasn't aware of, spiderlings comes running rampantly around the area, and I can't help but scream really loud, standing almost motionless. My strong-willed and mature parents can't stand me screaming over a bug with a bunch of younglings, but my paranoid impluse just wouldn't let me keep quiet at the sight of an overwhelming aftermath. I need help to supress my fear of mother spiders, so that I don't have to continue disturbing the peace within my household.
