These are part of the lyrics of White Man In Hammersmiths Palais by The Clash every time I hear this song and this part of the lyrics I think to myself this probably would happen with the increasing racism in the world the ignorance the Fascist Government parties in both the UK and France even if you go to the immigration section on this website you will see some outrageous and extremely racist posts and I believe everyone is entitled to their own opinion on the subject of immigration but we don't need the racism so what do you think If Adolf Hitler flew in today (which I know he can't cause he is dead) would we send a limousine anyway.

I hear this term thrown around a lot today, especially in reference to efforts to increase economic development in developing countries. Obviously, it means certain things - growing the economy, making more money, raising the standard of living. But it still seems like a very ambiguous term to me...are there perhaps some undercurrents, hidden meanings in the phrase? What does it mean personally to you? Is development the same as modernism? Is development, or modernism, at odds with tradition, and the preservation of local cultures? Is development, and modernism, and "progress" always a good thing? What are their drawbacks?
This isn't for a school paper or anything. I've just been thinking about this on my own and wanted to solicit some other peoples' opinions. Thanks in advance.

Why do all superheroes secret identities have to be some poor guy who can barely pay the rent???

I mean look at spiderman he has a hard life, superman is ok but not wow.

They must all be jelous of Batman/Bruce Wayne.
He is a super rich guy that sleeps all the time with super models, I mean that's some pretty easy life. ( I think it is because he does't have any superpowers)

Does anyone think this phenomenom stems from low self esteem? Or is it a psychosis that keeps women from learning from their mistakes. It should be more than apparent that if you have to scheme to keep someone then you shouldnt be with them and they probably dont want to be with you. Why cant women/teenager girls see this?

I went to interview at geek squad last week and they offered me a job on the spot. I accepted the job and they put me in for orientation and I even got the drug test taken..now two days after that I had an interview with Sprint for a very nice job position and the next day i got a job offer from them as well..I definitely want the sprint job so how do i call Best Buy and say no to them when i am technically already their employee and they think ill be there for my orientation tomorrow..i am confused :( In the mean time i want to refuse the job in a way that if i need to go back to them in the future they will hire me again..maybe it's selfish of me but i still want to do that...any help in this regard would be appreciated.

from april-june excon mobile made like 30 billion dollars,while gas prices have gone up the flow of oil has been the same for the last 5 yrs but prices have gone up,no sectert that the bush regime has big ties to oil,when will americans start to realise that we are getting ripped off and the people that are supposed to help us are laughing at the bank,how much more will big oil profit from this country before the people stand up and come together with ideas to stop this,like on certain days stop buying exxon for 3 days boycot gas companys like 3 days for this one,then 3 days for this one,i dont know,but we are americans and it is our constitucinal DUTY,to do something,the country went nuts because clinton cheated on his wife,but when bush lets oil prices get so out of hand,taking hard earned money from the citizens we do nothing,they wont even taxes these guys,these oil companys are nothing short of economic terrists attacking our pockets and our screwed up ecomony

My husband recently began thinking about getting circumcised.
