I believe this is possible but it will only occur with a shift in consciousness, the more people that decide peace is a choice and make a decision that every situation in their life they will choose peace, the quicker that shift will occur. If in quantum physics there is a possiblity of two outcomes than one of those outcome is peace, choosing peace over and over results in more peace and more people seeing the blessings of peace in the world. It took 100 years for women to get the right to vote, a HUGE shift in consciousness, but it happened...don't be discouraged in thinking it is not possible...it does exist as a possibility. Right now there is a bill proposed to create a Department of Peace in the United States. This department would use a very tiny part of the U.S. budget but would further many activities to encourage and teach peace including an academy similiar to West Point but with the purpose of teaching peace skills. War is an outdated way to solve conflicts, but unfortunately our education in peace has not been sufficient enough to help us find new ways.

Never since the first bacteria evolved and the second bacteria evolved and ate the first one has there been peace, and not until the Earth is a frozen ball of ice circling a cold dead clinker of a Sun will peace ever be. All life is about the living and the challenge is to live and do the best to make sure your children live. Everything on the planet is at war,animals against animals, plants against plants, bus against bugs, in a sense the matter of the planet itself is at war with itself. That is life and it is beautiful. The wolf makes the deer into a deer, fast alert,cautious. And the deer shapes the wolf,fast strong,intelligent with the endurance and the senses to find and catch a deer! Both beautiful,both alive and both playing the deadliest game as well as they can.

World peace will be obtained BY LOVE. Only BY Love.
There are only two things that never change, one is Love & other is Truth. Everything else is subject to change. People forget this (or pretend to). They are after what actually is not there which leads to desires, ego, selfishness, cruelty etc.
Understand that all religions teach to practise love & truth, but they remain as teachings only, no practise.
UNDERSTAND THAT EVERY CREATION IN THIS WORLD IS A RESULT OF THE OMNIPOTENT WILL, Follow that Will, WORLD WILL BE AT PEACE.

Unequivocally "NO" why because religion and politics will not let it happen there is no money in peace, who would by and or sell all the weapons and technology to, can it be attained again no, man has not evolved to that point yet he might get there oh say another 2000 yrs and that's just a maybe we really do have a long way to go yet so you wont have to worry about it in your life time unfortunately neither will your children's children

Not completely. There will always be somebody willing to take what their neighbor has or demonize they're neighbor for their own gain. But what can be done, if as many people as possible push for it, is relative peace, where conflicts are small and confined and the underlying problems are worked out quickly, possibly with pressure from peer countries.

as long as there are people, there will be war... it's the nature of the animal kingdom within us all, to take, control, and destroy.. and as soon as one person thinks it is possible to get by without taking, someone else will come by and take from them...
unfortunate but true...
global totalitarianism would provide the illusion of world peace, but it would be just that, and definately temporary... you can't have this many differing oppinions and also world peace...
eliminate, religion and competition, entirely, and there may be a step closer... but i doubt it, something else will take it's place...

humans are too messed up to ever be at peace with each other. If there was world peace then there wouldn't be heaven

I doubt it as long a men run things. They are much more agressive than women, in general, and it's sort of a 'guy thing' to appear to be in charge. Women would care too much about the future of children, and the earth, to cause so much harm.

MAybe but for that Human civilisation must go down and rebuild itself.
It won't be total peace but everyone should be more united.
