Is it really ok that we hold ourselves so hight above animals? We used to think slavery was ok, but today most agree that it was a dark time in our society.

What about animals? We imprison them in zoos, we keep them in tiny cages, we breed them for our own purposes, we sell them.......Is it arrogant that we concider ourselves so far above these creatures who share our planet? Is it arrogant to assume these creatures were created for our entertainment/use?

Just some thoughts... Please, respect animals, just because they are unable to defend themselves, does not make excuse to abuse them.

I live in central indiana. i was at my friend's house and we found a big spider about an inch and a half with a really big butt. It had a brown abdomen with white underneath, and yellow and red/black striped legs. can anyone identify this spider for me pleez?

ive seen lots of articles and information that's different!

1 says that flies can see a lot of images of 1 image!
and the other says they can see different images in each lens!!

I live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.. last night i had my front door Open to where i could look out my glass door... And i noticed this HUGE thing flying... at first my boyfriend thought it was a bad... then we looked closer, it was a moth the size of a bird!!!! And it was yellow with some markings on it... We noticed that it had dropped these little yellow beads on the outside of our house, on the wall.. I picked one up with a napkin and they are just little hard beads.. i tried to crush it with my fingers and couldnt... its very hard and small, the size of a B.B. for a B.B. Gun. Iv never seen anything like this..any ideas?
