Does it look like this?

A picture would be really nice.I'm not sure if it has a round body with triangle or if the body itself is triangular. if it is round with a whit triangle it could be an immature Black Widow.

I would at least consider the possibility that it is a mal-colored Black Widow; a triangular marking on the underside is not a common thing in spiders, whether it's white or red. Now a white triangle on the back is very likely the big jumping spider Phidippus audax. Very different thing entirely. If you have a photo you could post, that would be the best thing

Triangles on the lower half aren't common, so perhaps a black widow?
