I've never heard of any stories about this. Gators are more inland in the fresh water, crocs are more along the shore lines where salt water comes in to the mangroves and beaches. Given that gators and crocs are competitors and that the gator would then have to be in the croc's territory competing for food in a relatively foreign environment and living in salt water, i would guess that this would be extremely uncommon
