I was walking outside today, and I saw a bird singing right on top of a brush without showing fear of me - even though I was a few feet away from the brush. It sounded beautiful and was in a perfect position for a hawk to ambush it. I was wondering...why do they sing!!!

Would this world be a better place if dinosaurs had not been wiped out and become the predominant species,or would they have made the same **** ups that we have.
Saw a prog on Discovery Chanel of what they would have looked like if they had evolved, much the same as us ecept reptilian in looks.

Sometimes on the beach I find clam shells and sometimes snail shells with a perfectly round hole in them, a few millimeters in diameter. It looks like it was made by some kind of animal. A friend said this is from starfishes. Is that correct?

If the basis of all life , diseases etc is now believed to be the " genetic pool " . that there are inactive genes whose combination could not survive enviromental demands there by were not lost but are still part of the genetic pool . it is then possible given the right conditions to activate these genes to produce a different product from the current product( animals/humans etc

Who factored in the time concept to validate evolution ? Does the discovery of inert genetic pool where possible combination are possible with the right activation agents not overtaken this thinking.
