Can weasels and stoats live and hunt in close proximity to one another?

Or do stoats kill weasels?

not to close. They are terrotorial and will not tolerate intuders on their patch. Unless mating is what they are up to.

I don't think they can live and hunt in the same area as both animals are of the same family and both are territorial and aggressive.And I don't think stoats kill weasels and I don't think weasels kill stoat.
