Yes, I've seen them do it. They go down the hole, grab a rabbit by the back of its neck and chew through the spinal cord while the rabbit bolts out of the warren. They ride it until it drops dead. Then they drag it away to a nearby safe place to eat, but not far from the kill. You wouldn't believe an animal that small could drag a dead rabbit, but they are very determined.

If you've lost an adult rabbit and there's no sign of it near the hutch, I doubt it was a weasel; probably more likely to be a ferret. They're bigger and sometimes escape and go wild.
Look for hairs around the hole where it got in, weasels have very short fine hair compared to a ferret.
Dogs, foxes and mink will also kill rabbits.

Weasels are strong and aggresive animals.A weasel can very easily kill a rabbit and drag it(carry it),as they are strong animals.

Yes, definately!

Although 'carry it away' might be a stretch, drag it off would be more likely. But yeah they could definately do it, and often do. Those weasely kids take some feeding you know, and of course Mummy and Daddy weasel need to keep their strength up!

Yes easy. I have seen a stoat kill and carry/drag a full grown rabbit. and a stoat about half the size of a weasel.

Yes, absolutely! Weasels are not to be messed about with; they're strong and vicious.

Sure can. Poachers are the only rabbit thieves to get caught though.

Yep
I saw one in Sainsbury's the other day.
He also had some semi-skimmed milk and a jar of coffee!
