I have heard a rumor that in countries where it doesn't always rain, that there is this thing in the sky, called 'the sun', that shines down on you and makes it 'warm'.

Is this just a myth, or does this thing exist? If it does, do you think we will ever see it here in the uk?

If anyone who has seen this is reading it, what more can you tell me about it?

I notice EVERYTIME thunderstorms are forecasted, they hit everywhere but my neighborhood. Even when they attempt to approach, they just fall apart. Then sometimes, they may even re-strengthen once they get over the lake or in Canada. Everyone got some form of Torrential Downpours or even severe weather this week but my neighborhood hasn't. Why is that?

It's like I'm in the Bermuda Triangle for Thunderstorms.

I'm in Detroit.

Yeah so,

1. What really is the state of plasma (like what's happening)
2. Is lightning in general (the whole) considered plasma? Or is it the ones that are found in lightning that are considered plasma. Or maybe even those that are found right before or after lightning is formed?
