I notice EVERYTIME thunderstorms are forecasted, they hit everywhere but my neighborhood. Even when they attempt to approach, they just fall apart. Then sometimes, they may even re-strengthen once they get over the lake or in Canada. Everyone got some form of Torrential Downpours or even severe weather this week but my neighborhood hasn't. Why is that?

It's like I'm in the Bermuda Triangle for Thunderstorms.

I'm in Detroit.

Since you're in Detroit, storms that occur there are often arriving from the West. This means they may already be weakening. It seems like your neighborhood doesn't get hit as often as other places and that is probably true because weather is random and will do that sort of thing.
