My golfing buddy noticed that in the early morning hours before sunrise it is warmer than just after the sun comes up. The temperature should be rising but seems to take a dip and go down a couple of degrees and yet the sun is now shining. What causes this phenomenon?

How do you know when to go to a shelter?
I live in a mobile home now, just moved there. And I worry about knowing what to do if a tornado would happen. (my last apartment was blown down by a tornado, luckily I was in the hospital having my baby at the time....luckily??? hmmm...anyhow)
The web-site I just read on tornado safety says to GET OUT of the trailer.....but what I worry about is,
what if the tornado is already too close? What if you open the door and can see it or something? Or what if your leaving the trailer and going toward the shelter, but the tornado is somewhere out there and you may unintentionally be putting yourself closer to it. Kinda know what Im asking? Some help would be nice, thanks.

I always hear, "its going to be a beautiful day" sunshine and 80 degrees, but I LIKE the gray, chillier, overcast days, I am sooooo sick of the weather people immediately judging all weather that is not sunshiney all the time as BAD. Who decided that over cast skies or thunderstorms were TERRIBLE weather? I love that stuff, anyone feelin me on this?

you see, i want to know what the weather was like on Aprill 11, 1993 in Boston, Massachusetts. my parents apparently have conflicting "facts" about the weather on this day (my b-day), so i want to find out what the weather was like that day back then.

It seem odd to me that if a trailer park is available a tornado seem to find it .Do tornadoes have a brain that is controlled by some unknown force.

Is it a tornado over water, or is it like a dust devil, but formed over a body of water, and instead of collecting dirt, it collects water droplets instead? I've heard of them being weak tornadoes, and/or dust devils forming over water. But I'm wondering if their is an exact answer to this?

I am a teacher and single parent looking to move to an area that first of all has jobs, secondly, is a good place to raise kids, third, cost of living compatable to a teacher's salary and finally, decent weather such as low humidity, no tornadoes, not above 90 degrees in summer, on average, and not below 20 degrees in winter, on average. I also would prefer a city under 100,000 population.

hey...I was wondering if cyclones were the same as hurricanes? Is that what you can also refer a cyclone to? I know that they are similar in damage but on most web searches for cyclones and such results come up as hurricanes....should I expect this?
Also if you live in cyclone areas can you name where it is? And what do you prepare in case of one? Thank you!
