What does slight, moderate and high risk for severe weather mean? I mean, I know basically what it means but I heard somebody saying moderate risk is like it's going to happen for sure... How does this work in percentages? I know nobody knows if we're getting a tornado, where and at what time, but I would like to know if moderate risk is bad... We have a moderate risk in the midwest for today and I just would like to know... Thanks!

I see jet streams everywhere!!!!!!!?
i was told by my doctor that the government is now trying to kill off 10% of the baby boomers out of the world by dumping toxic gases everywhere,,he found out by knowing someone in the government, and im not supposed to tell people, u may not believe me, an thats exactly what the govern.wants u to do. this process is slow though,The government is the only one who has the antidote, day and at night now, u will see sometimes a cross or zig zag or parallel lines in the air, there are different types of jet streams, 1- the type of jet exhaust that evaporates in the air couple seconds behind them isnt toxic.
2-the other very toxic one is that the lines u see in the sky, u may think are pretty are toxic fumes, that sit in the sky until it rains, which is pollution and when it rains we breath it in.
it will soon kill all of the people who are already sick, what did the innocent do? they are killing little children also!!
WHAT CAN WE DO TO STOP THIS?

It has been brought to my attention lately that my family and I could definitely take part in saving electricity, water, etc. I wouldn't mind a few tips on ways to do so. I know the basics, such as 'turn off the lights when you do not need them on', but I would like to take it a small step further.
Thank you!

Why doesn't anyone ever speak of the most probable cause of it that could be imagined.
Look up in Alaska at a facility called HAARP.
These devices literally heat up the upper atmosphere of the Earth. But I do not hear anyone ever say a thing about it. Lets just let them keep heating up the air and we can keep blaming green house effects and cars and O2 imprints, blah blah blah.

As I understand it, although there are exceptions, for the most part a hurricane cannot form with ocean temperatures below 20 degrees C and they can become awesome category 5s with water temperatures of 23 degrees. This equals 293 and 296 degrees Kelvin, respectively, a differential of only 1%. Has there been any scientific answers developed to explain exactly why such a small
difference in temperature from 293K can cause make vesus not for tropical storm development?

I would say that it is alive, first for theological reasons (God creates nothing that's dead), second, it's that the Earth and it's many ecological systems have regular patterns of "behavior": Steady seasonal regulation of CO2 in atmosphere (like respiration), predictable lunar tides and currents (like a steady pulse), the Earth even seems to defend itself (via larger storms, longer droughts, greater floods, even the potential for ice ages, all triggered by global warming). I say that all life and ecological systems, while independant to certain degrees, are part of a larger whole, like the many systems within the human body.

Is the Earth alive? Why do you think so? What will you do about it?

I have some very specific questions about Climate change. Basically I have read lots and lots around this subject and found a number of very opposing views on certain topics.

1. The oceans are warming, but the oceans are massive bodies of water. Surely to heat these would take many many years, also would increases in geological activity not have an impact on this.
2. Solar activity is increasing, would this not have more of an impact on climate than CO2 or Water Vapour.
3. CO2 emitted by humans is much less than that released by Oceans, Volcanoes, Fires, Animals, Vegetation
4. Extreme Weather, given that air currents are a source of weather phenomena and air movements are caused by temperature variations. Then surely by global temperatures becoming more similar these would decrease.
5. The percieved sides in the climate debate are worth billions. Surely this has a part to play in the arguements.
What are we all to think about this.
