a refrigator works on the principal that work has to be done to throw out heat from a body at lower temprature to a body at higher temprature
lequid ammonia is used to absorb heat from the refrigator and with the help of compresser it throws the heat out of the refrigator. that is how a refrigator works

The principle on which it operates is that when a liquid is evaporated to a gas by reducing the pressure, it cools down. The refrigerator takes a refrigerant gas, compresses it to a liquid, a process that causes it to heat up. The heat is allowed to escape through the metal grill at the back of the fridge. When the compressed liquid has cooled to room temperature, it is passes through pipes around the outside of the refrigerator compartment. In here, the pressure is released, allowing it to expand back to a gas, a process which causes it to cool down. It is then pumped back to the back of the refrigerator, and compressed again, releasing the heat it absorbed from the refrigerator compartment. The process is then repeated endlessly, and effectively pumps heat from the compartment, out the back of the refrigerator.

A fridge makes us of the 2nd law of thermodynamics which pretty much states that heat can not move from a coolers body to a warmer body unless work is applied to the system.
A refridgerator pumps refridgerant through the walls of a fridge. The refridgerant, through a manipulation of pressure (because pressure and temperature are dependent) has been made cooler than the interior of the fridge. Heat from the fridge passes into the the refridgerant causing it to heat up. The refridgerant then goes to the outside of the fridge where, again through a manipulation of pressure, it is heated much warmer than the ambient temperature, causing the heat to pass from the refridgerant into the surroundings.
The cylce then starts again slowly drawing heat from the interior and passing it to the enviroment.

The refrigerator works by moving a coolant in pipes over air...the coolant absorbs the heat from the air, making that air cooler. Then the coolant is moved someplace where it can lose the heat, cooling it down, and then the process starts over again.

the frig cools by removing heat.the liquid in the pipes inside the frig boils at minus 400 degrees or so,turns into gas,moves to the outside of the frig,cools to a liquid, releasing the heat,starts the cycle over.

refrigerators have a gas called ammonia which has a high specific heat. nw when 2 things come in contact d heat energy is transferred 4m d one havin low temp. 2 the other one. nw because ammonia has a high specific heat therefore it needs more heat 2 raise 2 higher temp. so to gain state of thermal equilibrium the hot things lose thier heat till ammonia reaches the temp. of the thing. as d specific heat of d gas is very high so it remains unaffected in contrast 2 its temp. nd d things kept in d fridge become cold.

it`s very simple
it has an commpresser which works only when the heat inside the fridge is incrised it just suks the heat and keep all things inside cool. right. .?
