If a normal human body was to fall (from a flying plane at an altitude of 32,000 feet for example), and the body is allowed to just fall through the Earth's atmosphere in a free fall, when it actually hits the ground, is there any chance that the body might actually bounce back up (like a few feet) and then hit the ground again?

Intuitively (my opinion) is that the body won't bounce, becuase human body is just too soft. It will simply be an inelastic collision. The human body will just be squished flat onto the ground.

What do you say?

For those of you who have seen Crank, know what I am talking about!

If someone were to drop, say, a wrench out of a plane, it will crash to earth. But if an astronaut drops the same object from his orbiting space shuttle, does it crash to earth also?

Pressure is measured in pascals, where 1 Pa= 1kg/m x s squared.

The expression is:

(0.55kg)(2.1 m/s) divided by 9.8 m/s squared

Small tank is a feeder, birds drink and level lowers. I want to connect feeder to a larger tank for capacity reasons and have connected the two via a tube from the top of the feeder to the larger container. Normally feeder is filled, top is screwed on then turned over, liquid does not pour our but just sits in the feeder but when I connect them the water just pours out of the feeder. Is this an issue that there can be no air between the feeder and the top level of the liquid, and no air must come in, or is it just that the weight of the water is too much to sustain the system?

For the people who have read the example of a creature in Flatland.. It says that a 2d being on Flatland will "see" a 3d sphere as a shadow if place above it.. the shadow will be that of a circle.. again a 2d right? It then says that for a 3d being the 4d also is seen as a shadow.. Can someone give me an example in our world.. An example of a "shadow" which is a 4d in our everyday experience? Or am I completely missing the point here....

Assume these are microscopic quantum black holes - either artificial or natural - and there is enough mass inside to stabilize them. Assume that these two or more black holes somehow came into a quantum entangled state - either during their formation - or by some other means.

Assume they are LIGHT YEARS apart.

What properties would they have?

How would a particle falling into one black hole affect the other?

Using the formula h(t) = -1/2gt^2 + vt+s, and where "v" is initial velocity, "s" is initial height, "t" is time, and g is 32 ft/sec/sec.

Also, after 4 seconds it hits the ground, and you are standing on a building.

To be specific, you should flush the toilet and wait until the toilet starts to refill and then dump the stubble in the toilet bowl. Stubble climbs up the sides of the bowl everytime! This appears to demonstrate that WATER FLOWS UPHILL!
