I was researching harmful effects of technology. I've tried Wikipedia and the first few pages from google and yahoo and it seems that the only harmful effect is radiation from screens and antennas.

Electricity is said to be flowing from the positive end to the negative end...
But electricity is the flow of electrons...

So why are electrons, which are negatively charged, flowing to the negative side?

My guess is that they got it wrong when they said electricity flows from positive to negative...

I'm just wondering out of curiosity, and since the brain can command the body, couldn't it command it to shrink? So is it possible to shrink your body from thought? By believing that your one inch tall, without any doubts, could your body suddenly shrink? I know alot of people are just going to say "NO", but I'm just curious.

I have a battery that is supposed to last 40AH, but I don't think its really a 40AH battery because its not lasting as long as it should. Is there a way that I can test the Amp Hour rating of the battery? What kind of equipment would this require?

I wouldn't mind spending a little money on test equipment, because I need a battery that is as small and as lite as possible that puts out 40AH. If I have to spend some money and test a bunch of batteries it would be worth it to me.

That's the whole question.

My real reason for posting this question: I am trolling for geniuses.

But please, by all means, whoever you are, give this question your best shot. Try it, even if you feel it's impossible to answer definitively.

My mind occupies infinite dimensions, each occupying the same space, when my mind makes a conscious decision, from the infinite possible outcomes, (sometimes limited outcomes, lets say 7 outcomes)… time makes the other 6 dimensional decisions an impossibility, there is only one being occupying 7 dimensions, and when a dimensional decision is made the mind follows the network of dimensions, e.g. decision= D3 > D6 > D2 etc

Each thought or provocative act it part of a chain of outcomes some resulting well some not so well, some neutral, some bad, but the main thing is that all 7 dimensions occupy the same space and are once executed unable to re-determine or re-execute because the decision is then linked into another beings dimensional chain this continues making a network which in effect affects all beings in the social chain.

There is a possibility of a dimensional multiverse, allowing for dimensional decisions in multiple universe’…

I have an M.D. and PhD (biochemistry) degree from a foreign country and want to work in the US but I am facing difficulties finding a job because I have no US employment history which is needed for high level positions and I am too qualified for entry level positions (even though I would accept them). Any tips where to search ?

Alright, so here's my wondering:
If something is water-tight is it also air-tight? or visa versa?

Idea 1: Air tight doesn't always mean water-tight because (for example) water can condense under the face of a watch that goes under water, but air doesn't flow freely in and out of the watch.

Idea 2: Water tight doesn't always mean air tight because water has a higher density than air. So there is less resistance to the less dense air and air will flow more freely than water.

Idea 3: Water tight and air tight are the same thing. If there is one there is the other. No supporting evidence.

Thoughts? Does anyone know for sure? Does it vary ever?

Fire and Wheel were among the first major inventions. Automobiles, Aircrafts, Ships and Computers came down the line - very powerful inventions. What next major invention we could expect or what is the area in which a major invention can be expected. Is it going to be transportation where we will digitize the living being also (Star track style) and send them across ? Or could it be populating the moon ? Please post your reasonable (and not so reasonable) ideas. Thanks.
