If you were to eat (and successfully swallow) a tablespoon of salt in one go would it cause instant death? If not, any damage? Or how much salt would you need? I heard it gives you a heart attack.

Okay, I am a bit embarrassed, I am on the brink (have a D by 1 point, right before the final) of receiving an F in Organic Chemistry and I have honestly tried so hard to understand this class. I am at a really tough school and it is a known fact that our teacher tries to trick us on the test! I am not talking bad about him because I completely understand the importance of the subject. About a month ago, I came down with the worst virus that I've ever encountered. I am now feeling well, but at the time it enormously hindered my studying abilities. Also, I am taking Physics along with a Cell Biology class and have labs with every one. I know that I am in a hole and I will never give up on my goal to become a doctor one day, it's my dream. So, my question is with a F in Organic, is it impossible to get into Med or Dental school? Or, should I cut my losses? Thanks so much for any information!

Hi-
I am on many pain pills after just having had spinal surgery. Not taking them is not an option.

I take 3-4 stool softeners a day, 2 sennas at night, and 2 milk of mag tablets at night. This helped for 2 days - then the novelty wore off. I need several suppositories just to be able to go.

My doctor's nurse just keeps telling me to take up to 4 stool softeners a day. It's not working.

1) How's the best way to take the stool softeners - throughout the day, or all at once? Or take 1 w/ every pain pill?

2) Is there a prescription pill for this constipation I can take? Are my pills not 'tough' enough?

I'm in enough pain, I don't need this pain........

Thanks!

I thank the answers but I need biological level answers.
My question is, why does an old man need a blood vessel dilator to get erection?
What is the matter with his penis, body, blood, etc?
What is going on with his chemistry or biology of his body?
Why the Sildenafil is good for that?
I hope that somebody knows it.

some people say this is a myth, but this makes sense as some tumors become malignant for some reason at some point. So if biopsy shows the tumor is benign u will have to repeat this biopsy (every month? as some malignant cancers can kill within 3 months like thyroid anaplastic cancer) to make sure it did not get malignant yet - so what's the point in this procedure unless u actually have malignant cancer in the first place?

I need a knee replacement, but the Dr's say I'm not 60 they say I'm to young for a knee replacement ( as knee replacement parts have a minimal part which in my case will only last 10 years ), My knee is bone on bone. so they are holding off. I'm just wondering some one has made a lotion or a potion or what ever that will help me with my knee's. As my life is on hold I can't walk distances, dance or even kick a ball with my grandchildren. I on fosamax, celebrex, panadol, nuroforn, fishoil ,glucosamine and osteroEzeThank you
