I have been taking about 2 7.5 Loratabs a day for about 6 months. I am quitting and I am doing the cut back method. I started taking one 5 days ago 1/2 in the morning and 1/2 in the afternoon and tomorrow I'll take 1/2 for 5 days. When do you start to feel normal again? And I am having withdrawal symptoms. Naushea Stomach Cramps Dizziness and the runs but I swear it feels like my heart is pounding out of my chest is that normal??

Does anyone know if it is safe to douche with Hydrogen Peroxide? I've heard it's suppose to balance PH levels and it contains Acidophilous--the same bacteria in unpasteurized plain yogurt.

My boyfriend has been feeling nauseous, off and on, for the last three months; and every doctor we've gone to has told us there's nothing wrong with him. His blood pressure is a little high, but other than that, there don't seem to be any other symptoms. His blood tests have all come back with normal results.

Sometimes he wakes up with the nausea, and it lasts through the day; other times its triggered by eating seemingly benign foods, like plain pasta or tortilla chips; at one point reading brought it on, but that does not seems to be a problem anymore.

He also feels slightly tired- though not overwhelmingly- most days, but again there was nothing on the blood tests to indicate why this was the case either.

Could you please answer the following questions about your symptoms.

1. What symptoms did you have in the last 2 weeks?
2. Was medicine taken? If so what was it? Was it conventional or alternative? Prescribed over the counter or home remedy?
3. Was it something that had been used before?
4. Was advice sought from a pharmist and were any other practitioners consulted? (e.g. physiotherapists, osteopaths, etc.)
5. Was there any change in behaviour (time off work, rest, exercise, dietary change)
6. And finally did you ignore the symptom and wait for it to go away?

Could you please identify your age, sex and your occupation.

Thanks very much for your response.

I recently had a new mri of the brain woith and w/o contrast there was two small white spots mr nuerolgist told my wife and myself that i probably have ms,he just needed to wait for the blood work to come back.I am very sure he had the blood work already because i called the lab and they said that the report had been faxed twice the day before.I really dont feel very comfortable with this guy.I called my primary care doc and left her a message what his diagnoses was, she called me back and said she had spoken with him and he told her that he was not sure if i have ms. My primary also said that it is very common to have white spots on the brain, and dont jump to any conclussions. Very confused and emotionally spent person here,i really dont have much left as of emosions anymore with everything that i,ve been thru.Falcons117

A doctor told my girlfriend that she needed more vitamins and so I did some research and apparently vitamins are electrolytes. Anyway so I bought her a lot of gatoraide because I saw on tv that it has a lot of electrolytes and makes you really fast at sports. But she's getting sicker now and is slower at everything! I'm not sure why she's so slow at sports now because she used to be fast and electrolytes make you faster too right? So maybe the doctor is a quack and something else is wrong. Someone else told us that vitamins are like goosebumps but I have no idea what that means.
