Does anyone know if it is safe to douche with Hydrogen Peroxide? I've heard it's suppose to balance PH levels and it contains Acidophilous--the same bacteria in unpasteurized plain yogurt.

Never douche unless your doctor prescribes it!!!! Douching is not good for you...and if your doctor suggested that you do it, I'm sure that he/she would tell you what to douche with.

hydrogen peroxide is a disinfectant. it does not contain acidophilous. you should never douche. think of your vagina as a self-cleaning oven. it will take care of itself and maintain its own physiological (such as pH) balance. if you suspect an infection, see your gynecologist to get the appropriate treatments.

I wouldn't recommend it. Hydrogen Peroxide can kill off many helpful bacteria and throw your pH completely out of whack. Plus it is dangerous...

I've never heard of anything like that before. I wouldn't douche at all.
