I left my medication ( Nystatin Oral Suspension) to be precise over a lamp and it was sort of warm when I was about to take it. It says keep in a cool place so I am geussing its probably denatured and useless but would it be wrong to still take it just incase?

gonna go to pharmacist tommorow and ask but in the mean time I thought I ask here!

Heat and moisture may cause losing its effectiveness. You can take it but the potency of its effects cannot be ascertained, you may have less of its supposedly effects which will not meet the required dosage. That can possibly lead to a failure in treating the infection. Better to get another supply from pharmacy- that will be at the best of your health.

Every medicine is different but I would just call and ask a pharmacist a a 24 hour store and find out if it is safe.
