I'm 21 years old, and am taking the antidepressant, Celexa. It is not recommended that patients drink while on this drug. It apparently causes drowsiness, and I'm unpredictable while drinnking anyway, since I only drink on holidays or family events. However, I don't want to tell people that I'm on antidepressants. Which other medication can I use as an excuse not to drink, especially now that the holidays are coming up and I'm going to be surrounded by my extended family (my parents know about the antidepressants, but my other relatives don't).

I'm thinking of joining the The British Bone Marrow Registry, but I'm not sure what you actually have to do.

I give blood at the moment and that's fun, you get free biscuits and coffee, plus I get to see a bag of my red stuff.

What happens when you give bone marrow though? Is it an operation? Does it hurt? Do you have to stay in hospital? Does it affect your life? How do they get the marrow? What is the procedure?

The NBS sent me a video about "Your First Blood Donation" before I donated blood for the first time, is there anything like that around for bone marrow?
