if i was in a situation where someone was drinking and taking pills, I just happened to walk in to the situation where they overdosed. Is it true that I should give them a cold shower? WHat is the proper procedure?

Keep in mind this is before someone is calling the doctor. So I KNOW I SHOULD CALL THE DOCTOR.

If a person who is non-traditional in age, but can play piano, flute, sing well, paint well (received prizes), write well (received prize), and loves to acquire new skills...it this at all frowned upon? It isn't like I became professional in any of the above.. But was just born with inborn proclivities and others I tried to acquire willfully.

I see that excellence is prized in medical school, if especially you are applying at a later age... But if not mediocre, but skilled, yet not "excellent", how to capitalize on this fact that I am a serious jack-of-all-trades?

Honestly, I've spent many years in philosophical depression and didn't care diddlysquat for life for many of the formative years of academic life (in college). How to explain this without making it sound like I am "justifying" or "making excuses"? Please, only sensitive replies, as this is a regetful topic for me.

I've heard people almost look condescendingly on older students in medical school. Why is this so? Do they think older students are less intelligent for pursuing their dream at a later age? Just curious the reason.

I hate to get too personal here, but I'd swear that I am smaller than I used to be. Is this normal or not? If it isn't, is there anything that can be done about it? Thanks.
