Asking people on here what medication you should take is highly inadvisable. I suggest going to a dentist or oral surgeon immediately! I had a infection similar to this during a vacation and the oral surgeon said that if I did not get treatment for the infection it may burst and bacteria would enter the blood stream and enter the brain and cause severe damage. Go seek professional medical help right away! This is your life you are gambling with.

Elevated blood pressure can cause what seems like slight pain in the optic. Many things could cause you to feel pain in your eyes.

You could hev glicoma, it causes high pressure in the eyes leading to pain. If you have it you will need correctve sugery wich is not even guarenteed to fix it. I hope your eyes feel better soon!

Don't rule out medication side effects.
Some antidepressants, especially tricyclic variety, have been known to cause pretty severe eye pain.
Are you on trimipramine or trazadone? Even if you're not, then question anything else you're on, if you even are on anything.

Something that happened to me one time I accidently squrited lemon juice in my eyes. Man that stung. It stung so bad I had to soak my eyes in cold water for about 10min. Another thing that happened to me I accidently got Sun lotion in my eyes. Thanks for the question. Sincerely Meg
