Last night I had diehrreah so I took some Pepto Bismo and the next morning when I wake up to go brush my teeth my tounge is black!!!!!What happened??This is a SERIOUS QUESTION!!!

Yep...someone said it. Common side affect of Bismuth. Some people take Bismuth for peptic ulcers and have the same problem

Yes it's a normal reaction to the Pepto.
What I do is I use my toothbrush and just brush my tongue - that will make the black film go down the drain.

Well...any chance that you took an antibiotic recently?? Alot of anitbiotics cause superinfections like a black, harry tongue and yeast infections.

it's a normal side effect of Pepto Bismol. It is harmless and will go away. Don't worry about it.
