Ok so it says,

Calculate the angular velocity in radians per minute of a Ferris wheel 250 ft. in diameter that takes 45 sec. to rotate once. Express the answer in terms of pi. For an answer I got 50pi/9min and well, I'm not sure its right...
Then it says to calculate linear velocity for the same problem and express it to the nearest foot per min. For this one I got 1178 ft/1min , but I'm not sure it's right either. So you can see my problem here, can you please help me out here, are these answers correct ? ? ?
Well thanks in advance. =)

And then artiststree asked : "What were the mathematical odds of that happening?"

So here I am folks, I am stumped on this one myself.

What are the odds?

4 men and 4 boys can do a piece of work in 3 days, while 2 men and 5 boys can finish it in 4 days. how ling would it take 1 boy to do it? How long would it take 1 man to do it?

i am a little confused, u should solve it using linear equations in two variables. and i wrote
let the no. of boys be y and the no of men be x then
1/4x+1/4y=3
1/2x+1/5y=4
but then the answer is a fraction and humans cant be fractions!!!

pl help guys i'll gv 5stars to the correct answer....

On your way, your distance from A to B gets cut in half, then in half again, then in half again, then in half again. It keeps getting cut in half an infinite number of times until the halves become microscopic. But no matter how small it becomes, the distance that you have remaining from where you are to where you want to be (point B) can still be cut in half again. Do you ever really get to point B or is there just too many halfway points to cross that you never really get there?

I've got a large bag of M&Ms, large enough that the supply can be considered infinite. Furthermore, I'll assume that all six colors I observe are in the same quantity. If I take 3 M&Ms from the bag, what is the probability that two, and only two, M&Ms are the same color? What is your reasoning?
