2.Find the entire width of this two-bedroom apartment a (not counting the patio) in terms of x. (Be careful, the width of bath 1 is not given, but the width of the entry is the same as the width of the pantry. With that information, you can find the width of the left hand side of the house

my actual answer came out to be 5/3... but why does our instructor say that the answer should come out to be 1. Did he do something wrong???

I am really having difficulties with solving system of equtions in math right now and I'm in grade 11... I don't know the steps for solving system of equations using the substitution method... I can do matrices because I know the steps , I just can't do substituion and elmination... can someone please give me an example and go by steps using words as well as the math... (7x+2)(x+8) foil to check answer

7x^2 +2x +56x +16 combine like terms

7x^2 +58x +16

answer (7x+2)(x+8)
