see the missing one as x

then u have:

3000+2100+x
-------------------- = 900
3

times all by three

3000+2100+x = 2700

take 3000 and 2100 (which is 5100)

x = -2400 (so this is ur answer!!! lol)

CHECK

3000+2100-2400=2700

2700 divided by 3 is 900

voila, hope that helps x

I guess the question is asking what percentage is 2100 of 3000.

Well 3000 - 2100 = 900 but 2100/3000 x 100 = 70%

so either 2100 = 70 % of the 3000 or 900 = 3% of the 3000

you can check the last one by doing this 900/3000 x 100 = 30%

Have a look at the question and see if you need to give the percentage that your 900 represents of the start figure (the 3000) or the percentage 2100 is of the start (the 3000).

Hope this help you.

Try typing it out EXACTLY the way it is on your homework.
Otherwise I have NO idea what you're talking about.
