1. Plug y=0, x=-3:

2*0 + 8 < -3*(-3) - 7 ?

8 < 9 - 7 ?

8 < 2 ?
False.

2. y=10, x=3

10 <= 3*3 + 2 ?

10 <= 11 ?
True

3. y=1.5 x=1

1/(2 * 1.5) - 2/(3 * 1) >= 3/4 ?
1/3 - 2/3 >= 3/4 ?
