a – b = 14

Now just add the two equations, and "b" will cancel out: That gives you the answer for "a".

Then subtract "a" from 90, and you've got "b"

a = smaller angle


a + a + 14 = 90
2a + 14 = 90
2a = 76
a = 38

the angles are 38 and 52
