i am having a problem....i'm having a right angles triangle in which i know all the three angles and the base....how can i find the hypotenuse? i have heard that that this is possible thorugh the law of sines...how? what is this law? and what are sines?can someone please guide me?

How do u work out the exact angles of these trigonometry questions? They are in my test 2mrw and i dnt know how to do it. Here are some practice questions i received from my teacher:
Find exact values of:
a) tan 60 degrees
b) cos (pi)/4
c) sin -45 degrees

and how do u solve these equations:

0 a) cos theta= -0.5
b)sin theta= -0.5

i am trying to use U-substitution.
but both of the following work:
u=tanx du=sec^2x
u=secx du=secxtanx

so i would have 2 different answers after pluging U back in....
which is correct?

It looks wierd i wasnt sure how to set it up but these are all fractions. The underscore is the fraction line. its x-9 OVER 6 plus x+2 OVER 5 equals 7 OVER 6

Please show me how to do this problem!! I keep getting x=2 wich seems ok but it is wrong according to the books!!

Solve 1 - (x-3)/3 is less than or equal to 1/2

These interval notation problems are usually easy for. I guess I don't know what to do with the (x-3)/3.

I know the final answer is x is greater than or equal to 9/2 or [9/2 , infinity )
