For example, if you graph a standard curve from the following data:
Concentration of Solution (μg/ml)
1.0
2.0
3.0
5.0
6.0
7.0
Absorbance
0.17
0.48
0.75
1.37
1.69
1.96

What would be the absorbance of a sample whose concentration was 5.4 μg/ml. And how do you determine the answer?

I have a trig question where for this right triangle, only the angles of 90, 18, and 72 degrees are given. It asks to find one of the sides. The answer is written beside the question (the answer's 1.0). Is it possible to solve this using only the angles, or does the answer have to be used?

(Sorry if the answer is really simple, I've forgotten everything from last year)

ok, I need some help with my math homework. At the top, it says analyzing the graph of a function. Then it says for the graph f(x) below, find the indicated information. And it shows a graph with seven points on it.

and it says a) find f(0)
b) find f(2)
c) find f(-6)

so, can you tell me how to find f? Is it just a point on the x axis? Any help would be great.

I need help on using limits to determine the behavior of the function at any discontinuity. I also need to use limits to determine the end behavior and to sketch the graph. How do I find the discontinuities, intercepts, and asymptotes of these questions?

1. f(x) = (x^3+2x^2-35x) / (x^2-x-20)
2. f(x) = (-x-3) / (2x^2+x-15)

I first factored everything. However, like #1, I got stuck after finding out that -4 was an asymptote. How should I come about finding these requirements of the problems?

Thank you!

Hey, I just got multiplying part of the polynomials, and now dividing is confusing me! I don't know how to go about this. Any ideas?

One

{(12m^2n^5)/(m+5)}/{(3m^3n)/(m^2-25)}

Two

{(n^2-n-12)/(2n^2-15n+18)}/{(3n^2-12n)/(2n^3-9n^2)}

Three

{(17mn^3)/(m^2+2m-35)}/{(34m^8n^4)/(m^2+7m)}

Four

{(16-2m)/(m^2+2m-24)}/{(m-8)/(3m+18)}

If anyone can help me on how to do these it will be great! I need advice and pointers, and then i can do the rest! There are 20 of these!!

I don't know why Y! Answers cuts the equations off, but here's the link with the questions:

Help on any one of these will be great.
