I have a question on a homework question. All I need to know is this...

There is a box diveded into 4 squares. The top left box has an 'A' in it. The top left box has a 'B' in it. The bottom left box has a 'C' in it. And the bottom left box has a 'D' in it. Above the 'A' and 'B', it says, "Variable 1". Next to the 'A' and 'C' box, it says, "Variable 2" can you please explain it to me. I would really appriciate it.

common denaminator for

a)3/10, 5/6,-3/4

b)1/8,14/15,4/7

c)1/6,14/5,13/28

d)7/15,23/20,5/6

and pls tell me how to do it, i know most of time, you multiply the numbers but sometimes the product is too high. can you guys give me some ideas how to find the commion factor?
