The Mixed number becomes 17/3

If you divide 17 by 3 you get a quotient of 5 with 2 remainder. the Improper fraction results 5 2/3

1and 3/4 is a mixed fraction
4 x 1 + 3 makes it an improper fraction.
Answer is 7/4.

6 x 2 +5 = 17/6

u r actually a kid........u multiply the whole no. with the dinominator and add the numerator to it
like
7 1/2 so it will be 2*7+1/2=15/2
