We made this path of lines sort of a maze and the assignment is to find an algoritm that solves the maze. One group has it easy and has colored junctions, our group needs to find a way to do it with 3 line sensors, anny ideas annyone?

(This isn't a homework question, I just want to see if there are any truly intelligent people out there.)

You have two buckets. One bucket measures 3 gallons, the other 5. You also have an unlimited supply of water to fill the buckets with.

How do you accurately measure 4 gallons of into the 5 gallon bucket using only te supplies listed? Both buckets are oddly shaped so that it is impossible to 'guesstimate' 4 gallons.

Rest assured, there is a correct answer. A similar problem is also featured in a movie. Can anybody tell me which movie this is from? If you remember the solution, don't give it away. I want to see if there is anybody here that can actually figure it out.

i am a student taking the subject of "ic design".
as far as i know, in static cmos design, the pull up network and pull down network do not have the same structure. if the pull up network implements the function F, then the pull down network will impliment the function F bar.
but from the library of the design software, i saw a design where the pull up network has the structure same as the pull down network. both the network is facing each other like a mirror. i can't figure out how it work.
how can i get a boolean equation from this? can someone help me out?
thx

Has anyone seen the movie or read the book: 2001: A Space Odyssey. I was wondering when computer science and engineering will be able to produce such an advanced piece of artificial intelligence that Hal was.

When will we be able to invent an Artificial Intelligence that is almost as belivable as a human?

Ok, so I'm in a electronics class and I have to set up a circuit, problem is I can't test my circuit because I don't have a 5v source. Is there 5v batteries? Or is there a way to supply 5v to my circuit without having to spend a lot of money.

Please explain to me what I should do. Thanks!
