I'm going back to school because I'm tired of chemical plants. Which one of these two has more potential? If I can't determine between these two I'm going to have to flip a coin.

I need to run 4160V feeds to some power vaults. Yes, 4160V...not 480V or 110V. Each Power vault requires three power feeds, a ground and a control cable. Amperage is 400 Amps. I've got existing 4" conduits.....but I cannot find a cable small enough and think I need to retrench and run new conduit to at least 5", maybe 6" Anyone got a miracle solution ? Or should I say cable....original design calls for 750 KC mil 133% insulation which is a 3.8" OD and wont run in a 4" conduit. Hopeing to find a rated cable that will. I was hoping a salesman would be on here looking at this instead of all you smart a$$e$.

I asked a while ago about this, but I there was still some confusion in my mind. My ultimate goal is to use power electric heating coil from human powered bike. I was wondering, I will I be able to create enough power to power the coil?

Here's what I have so far: I took the motor out from an old fan, and I was thinking about directly connecting that to the bike. My question is would that work? If so, about how much power will I be able to get out of it? Am I going to need anything like an inverter? or can I just connect to the two end terminals to the coil, and that would work? Also, am I going to need a diode? Basically, what I am trying to ask is how would I put everything together? I have bits of info, just need to figure everything out.

Also, as for the coil, how does the wattage rating work? I am thinking of using maybe like a teapot coil..

Thanks for all your help in advance!!

constructing a paper bridge, can only use minimal glue - nothing else. have tested cyclinder columns with 'T' shaped sections cut into each end for support and connections. Two of these hold more than one brick. I can use 4. Problem is the construction of the beam, has to have a clear span of 150mm by 300mm. Any ideas on the beam design ??
