This question has to do with this question regarding the size of a battery. For instance the AA battery is larger than the AAA battery. Here is the link to that.

Can you use an extra large battery (such as a lantern battery) with 1.5volts to take the place of a AAA 1.5volt battery? Of course, you may have to use a stepdown transformer if the lantern batter carries more than 1.5volts. Perhaps a resistor would do the trick. I don't know.

But, to put it more simply. Could a AA size battery with 1.5volts take the place of a AAA battery with 1.5volts?

What I need is something like a bicycle's brake lever on the handlebar. But instead of jumping back when you release it, it will stay at any position in between as I set with my hand even if it is under (spring ) pressure. Is there anything like this that exists?

Hi can someone help me with this stupid business studies question I had??

Scenario: ABC is a UK subsidary of a Japanese company, as a managing director you want to ensure that your company is profitable, contributes to the UK Gross National profit, whilst ensuring that arrangement are in place for disposing of hazardous waste.

The actual silly question which I was clueless about: Describe how external factors and economic enviroment can have an effect on an engineering company. Describe how recession can affect an engineering company in the business of overhauling brake units for aircraft undercarriages. Outline some strategies which can be used to weather the influence of recession??

Please may someone help me with this question.
Thanks

AAA is smaller than AA and there are others not common on the market of different sizes and shapes. Why are batteries different sizes? Does it really make a difference regarding the function of a gadget? The AAA battery has the same voltage as the AAA.

I am looking for technical data on CR4 sheet steel but can't find any information. I can find all sorts of data for lots of different grades of steel, but not for CR4. Does anyone know where I might be able to get some information? I'm asking, as I need the physical data for stress analysis. Does CR4 closely compare with another type/s of steel?
