my dad has grey-blue eyes and my mom a dark chocolate-brown color. however, my eyes are brown in the morning, hazel during the day, and green at night. they're usually a hazelly-yellow or green color... or caramel-colored. i looked up the odds of what my eye color would be if my parents had brown and blue eyes, and green and/or hazel weren't even options...

i believe eye color is polygenic, meaning it's likely it's based on the parents' genes but not definite... any more information on this? thanks a ton!

oh... and what is the name of this study? does it fit into 'biology', or am i drawing a complete and total blank? :] thanks again.

How do I stop these stomach sounds!?
I was so embarrassed today! I think drinking coffee makes this happen worse -- but, I was in class and my stomach just kept making these loud sounds, not really a growling, but more like you hear hear the digestion process going on! It was so freakin embarrassing. Is there a certain way to make these sounds happen less. Not drinking coffee is probably one, but does anyone know of other things? Maybe a sitting position or anything?

I'd go for a chalicotherium. It was about 9 feet tall, had "the shortened face of a horse, the neck of an ox, the arms and shoulders of a massive ape, the front claws of an anteater and short rear legs to support its massive bulk." I'd name him Walter.

among many of his findings there is one that really appeals to my logic which is that of the unique pigeons that are bred with other birds to create all kinds of beautifull different pigeons and how dogs and horses are cross bred to create all kinds of show dogs and horses e.c.t.e.c.t. and how they survive to breed again and again and again until finally we have a unique species (which is apparentley how humans became) something unique mated with something unique in africa 500,000 years ago and made us,(i will add links here soon for the dissbelievers). SO i wonder if we can do it again and evolve again into something more unique?. the most intelligent animals here today i can think of are dolphins, dogs, crocodiles, and whales (and many more, this is off of the top of my head) SO with todays technology with artificial insemination and gene cloning can we artificially breed with another highly sophistocated and intelligent animal to produce a very unique species again ? better than us?

I want to know why is it that realitive to the size, a fall from a hieght of about 9 feet would kill them, also same thing for ants, when I see them and flick them against a wall, or something they get back up. Yet when a person jumps out of a plane, realitive to our size, without a perasute we die, or if by some mircle there badly injured.

And fon't tell me its because the exsoskelton, because we would still die even if we wore a suit of armor
