Steady now - I know all about bio-diversty etc. etc.
Some critters are just plain useless though aren't they. A few suggestions of my own are;
Headlice
Pubic Lice
Those teeny weeny red mites you sometimes see on stones/bricks in the garden

I'd like to know how many calories it takes to make the heart beat, or joules, whatever form of measurements would be appreciated. And if we were able to extract the energy from a heart beat, how much would it produce? Thanks ===

Personally I don't. I believe the subject of evolution is just another way for humanity to play God and say that they are number one. Evolution is tricky, though, for non-religious people. A few reasons why I don't believe in evolution:

1.) I'm Christian and it does go against Christian beliefs
2.) If humans are related to Apes, where are the half- ape/half- human creatures (big foot doesn't count because, if big foot is real, there are not enough of it's breed to be considered a missing link)
3.) Scientists also say that birds evolved from reptiles... but if that's true- where are the birdlike reptilians that should be roaming the Earth?

To me, there are too many unknowns for Evolution to be considered anywhere close to fact, so why is it being taught in school? Well, that's my opinion, I want to hear yours. I love stirring up controversy.

Lol, this is a pretty bad question since I don't know the details, but it is a picture of a human in the middle of a circle. You usually see it in relation to genetics and things like the genome project. I think it was also an illistration in an old book about genetics... Anyone know what I'm talking about?

As far as i am concerned wasps are the spawn of Satan, and have no purpose on this planet.

It seems to me that they do useful things, such as polonate plants, but so do bee's etc

What do they do that no other living being couldn't do instead?

Why do we have to suffer them on this planet???????
