I farted in the shower earlier and damn near passed out. There has to be a scientific reason for this especially odiferous flatulance.

let see here....im always answering your questions...but im going to answer this with logic. When your in the shower and all the mositure for the hot water condenses the bathroom it makes it harder for things to travel, like a radio signal in the fog.. so when you let off a big smelly one the smell is trapped around you and can not spread out and fade away....so there is your answer my friend

its like smoking in the rain, the water droplet take in a bit of the 'smell' and trap it. When you fart, the moisture in the air which is obv high while taking a shower, traps the fart, and it passes it along to all the other airborne moisture particles.

there is a scientific explanation. Its called diffusion. the hot concentrated air causes the oder to move faster from your rear to the top and since your in a confined area your getting a concentrated dose of the odor

Because u are surrounded by hot steam, the odour is enhanced.
The odour is absorbed into the steam, so effectively u are turning a small amout of crap into a large amout of crap.
It wouldn't help that u are in an small, enclosed area either.

The warm water amplifies the smell. Wet farts are much smellier than dry ones...

It prolly stinks more because you're in a closed area, and maybe the water like makes it more potent. LOL. :)
