reespiration is a normal physiological action of a body to get air(mainly oxygen) into their lungs to get energy for survival... it also include the process of removing toxic waste of metabolism(mainly carbon dioxide) from the circulation... which eventually helps in the maitaince of a normal homeostatic environment(mainly the ph)... hope it helps

Respiration is when your body turns water and oxygen into energy and releases them as waste.That's why you need a continous amount of them and this process is called Cellular Respiration.
